Pioneered by DJs Farbsie Funk & Quesquecest the Make it Funky collective has been a staple for funk in the Toronto music scene.
Since 2005, Make it Funky has presented local and top international breaks, rare groove, turntablism, classic old school hip-hop and live touring artists at venues across Canada. Make it Funky is an experience exploring the funkier side of all things breakbeat. Sliding off the deep end with a focus on bringing the cutting edge of funk breaks hip hop and beat-driven live music to the masses.
Bringing their international network of funk to your living room Funk Raiders has featured local artists and international headliners from across the globe in a bi-weekly live stream marathon. Funk Raiders has featured some of the biggest names in breaks and funk including Krafty Kuts, Fort Knox Five, Freddy J, Father Funk, Deekline, Beardyman and so many more.
October 9th we bring the funk to The Nemesis metaverse with the 30th edition of Funk Raiders running from 12pm EST to 1am EST.
