As we stride through our 9th month in this journey, 2021 has come and gone. We wanted to take a minute to reflect on our time together as a community and what’s been accomplished:

• $PEBBLE has grown to over 800 holders and a global community
• The Pebble & Friends Logo and Gamer Pass art was designed by Mercenary Art Studio
• Project Ark adopted Purple Penguin into their environmentalist ecosystem and helped us release our Gamer Pass NFTs on OpenSea, raising funds for Gaia Together & Savingpenguins.org
• Partnered with Pepper to allow eco-friendly mining of Purple Penguin NFTs using excess PC power while supporting agroforestry with Treedom
• Launched the antARTica metaverse — home to an incredible NFT art gallery, mini-games, and the longest-running live stream metaverse series “Funk Raiders” with biweekly free concerts in The Nemesis
• Drove collaborative P2E experiences with GamerHash mini-games in antARTica
• Integrated $PEBBLE for P2P challenges through our game launchpad, Mana Games
• Airdropped over 50k USD in crypto and NFTs to our community

Now the year can’t end without a few more announcements?!

We are extremely excited about Purple Penguin’s partnership with the EV Motor Sports Team Ellysium Racing! The partnership represents a call to action and a choice towards collective change, spreading the message of clean energy through electric motorsports.

On December 18th we streamed the first-ever motorsports event in the metaverse — The Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals with our driver Ellis Spiezia finishing in 6th place.

There are a lot of exciting collaborations planned for on and off the track for 2022 & beyond.

Our antARTica art gallery is due for an upgrade

We first met the team behind Exquisite Workers through their DigitalArt4Climate competition. The contest is a collaboration with the UN-Habitat youth program to inspire and promote climate action through the power of culture and technology.

Their new Exquisite Workers project supports over 572 artists (including 331 female illustrators) from 50 countries by offering artist consulting and creating interconnected NFTs they call Exquisite Corpses.

Purple Penguin will be collaborating with Exquisite Workers to display artist works in our antARTica metaverse gallery as part of a rotating curated showcase.

What would the holidays & new year be without some gifts!?

Our friends at Tafi gifted 11 Whitelist spots to our Tuxedo Club giving our top holders in the community early access to the highly anticipated Non-Fungible People NFT released in collaboration with Daz3D as the follow-up to their CloneX collab with RTFKT. We can’t wait to see what our community minted!

Curio has released a new series of custom galleries they call Blocks. As a special gift to our Tuxedo Club holders, we will be providing you with FREE Curio Blocks to display your NFT collections and create your own custom utility & interoperable NFT experiences. The antARTica-themed gallery rooms will be available for Vagrant Penguin holders to purchase, create and display their collections while earning tokens and rewards for engagement.
